Kankuro is the elite puppeteer of Sand Village, the son of the fourth Kazekage, Temari's younger brother, and Gaara's older brother. He studied under the Sand Village puppet unit and inherited the puppets left by the Red Sand Scorpion. He was promoted to a jonin at the age of 15 and is the tactical core of the new generation of Sand Village.
Origin and Background
Kankuro was born in the Sand Village in the Land of Wind. He is nominally the son of the Fourth Kazekage Rasa, but his hair color (brown) does not match his parents (red-haired father, blond-haired mother). He was afraid of his brother Gaara's out-of-control power since he was young, but later became his most staunch supporter. He was once poisoned to save Gaara and was saved by Sakura.
Personality and Hobbies
Kankuro seems impulsive and belligerent, often scolding his teammates with "Don't hold us back", but he is actually loyal and righteous.
When the Sand Village leaders gave up on Gaara, he was the only one who insisted on rescuing him, crying out in tears, "He's my brother!"
He likes to collect puppets, and treasures puppets such as "Crow", "Black Ant", and "Salamander" made by the Red Sand Scorpion. In his spare time, he carefully maintains and transforms the mechanisms.
He regards puppets as "artworks", calmly arranges in battle, and is good at predicting enemy actions.
He loves hamburger patties the most, hates spinach, and is often complained by Temari for being picky about food.

Ending and Influence
In the Fourth Shinobi World War, he took the poisonous blade of Scorpion to protect Gaara. He was saved by Sakura when he was on the verge of death. After the war, he inherited the position of leader of the Sunagakure puppet unit.
Kankuro is not only the "puppet artist" of Sunagakure, but also a symbol of tenacity and protection in the world of Naruto. From a boy who fears his younger brother to the most trusted brother of the Kazekage, his skills and story line perfectly blend the precision of machinery and the warmth of humanity.
