Obito Uchiha is a member of the Uchiha clan of Konohagakure Village and a disciple of the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze. He dreamed of becoming a Hokage when he was young, but fell into darkness after witnessing the death of his best friend Nohara Rin. Under the pseudonym "Afei", he manipulated the Akatsuki organization, launched the Fourth Ninja World War and became the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki. He was eventually influenced by Naruto and sacrificed himself to protect the world.
Background
Obito Uchiha was born in the Uchiha clan but his talent was mediocre. He was promoted to Genin at the age of 9 and Chunin at the age of 11. He was in the Minato team with Kakashi and Nohara Rin. He was often late and failed in missions and was mocked as "the last one", but he cherished his companions' kindness and was trusted by his teammates.
In the battle of Kannabi Bridge, Obito Uchiha was crushed half of his body by a boulder to save Kakashi. Before his death, he entrusted his left eye Sharingan to Kakashi, and his last words "protect Rin" became the starting point of his obsession.
