Jirobo is a member of the Sound Four (later expanded to Five due to Kimimaro's serious illness). He is of burly build, arrogant and cruel character. He regards Orochimaru as a "god" and is a loyal follower of Orochimaru.
Background
Jirobo was born in the Sound Village in the Land of Rice. He was taken in by Orochimaru and implanted with the "curse seal" since he was a child, becoming the strongest among the Four Sound Ninjas. He was trained with emphasis because of his huge size and earth escape talent, but he is still essentially a pawn of Orochimaru.
Personality and Traits
Arrogant and underestimating the enemy: often mocking the opponent's strength (such as calling Choji a "fat pig").
Cruel and sadistic: enjoying torturing the weak and burying the enemy alive with earth escape.
Blind worship: regarding the recognition of Orochimaru as the highest honor, being very respectful in front of Orochimaru.
Lack of sense of existence: proving one's own value through violence.
Contradictory: seemingly confident, but actually inferior.

While this Barrier is in effect, before the first action in each round, when you release Earth Style. Sphere of Graves, it wll attack all 4 ninjas of the opponent's Lineup.
Taijutsu Attack: Afttacks the opponent's front row and has a chance of a 3 COMBO and to cause Knockdown.
Chakra Swallowing: Recover Life by 12% when your own team recovers Chakra.
Curse Tag: Increase own Defense and Resistance when attacked each time.
Earth Style - Sphere of Graves: Chases and Attacks a Repulsed unit, causes Knockdown.

Ending and Influence
In the final battle, Jirobo was defeated by Akimichi Choji in the battle with Naruto's team and was buried in the forest. When he was defeated, he said to himself in shock, "I was defeated by a fat man...", and his values collapsed.
He was resurrected by Kabuto Yakushi in the Fourth Ninja World War, but he disappeared as the technique was lifted before he showed his brilliance, symbolizing the end of his fate as a "tool man".
