Haku is a very tragic character in Naruto, from an orphan on a snowy night to a calm killer. He has the image of a beautiful boy with a feminine appearance and long black hair. He is gentle on the outside but tough on the inside. He has the dual identities of a rebel ninja of Kirigakure and a follower of Zabuza Momochi. He adheres to the value of "protection is existence" and wears a mask from the Kirigakure Anbu to cover his appearance, which is a metaphor for his way of survival in which he hides his true self.
Haku was born in a small village in the Land of Water where snow falls all year round. His mother is a descendant of the Snow Clan and was executed by the villagers for hiding her Blood Limit (Ice Release). When he was young, Haku awakened his ability in fear and killed his father and villagers with an ice cone, becoming an orphan and living on the streets.
During his exile, he was taken in by Zabuza, who taught him all the fighting skills and trained him to be a "ruthless tool". From then on, Haku regarded Zabuza as the meaning of his survival. On the surface, Haku was a member of the Kirigakure assassination force, but in fact he was the cover for Zabuza's fake death and escape.
Soft on the outside, strong on the inside: usually gentle and kind (such as reminding Naruto to "be careful not to catch a cold"), but if it is for Zabuza, he can turn into a "tool" to fight ruthlessly.
Self-denial: calling himself "a person not needed by the world", he ties his own value to the identity of a tool.

In the Fourth Ninja World War, Haku was resurrected by Kabuto Yakushi and was forced to block Raikiri again to protect Zabuza. Before his consciousness faded, he heard Naruto named the bridge "Naruto Bridge" and thanked him with tears in his eyes: "Thank you... for making our battle meaningful."
